The Old Students Association of Keta Business College, KETABUSCO, has donated dust bins to the school to help improve sanitation on campus.
The donation was led by Mrs. Etornam Dormekpor Tettekpor and Philip Abotsi on behalf of the Association.
Presenting the items, Mrs. Tettekpor stressed the need for students to take sanitation seriously. She urged them to make good use of the bins and help keep the school compound clean at all times.
The Headmaster, who received the donation on behalf of School Management, expressed appreciation for the kind gesture. He announced that the dust bins have been strategically placed in areas covered by CCTV cameras to monitor usage and prevent misuse.
The bins have been distributed among the various Houses. Management says the House that maintains its bins best will receive an award.
The students pledged to stop indiscriminate dumping of rubbish and to take responsibility for cleanliness in the school.
School authorities thanked the KETABUSCO Old Students Association for the support and called on other old students to emulate the example.
