The Member of Parliament for Anlo Constituency, Hon. Richard Kwame Sefe, has donated relief items to residents of three communities affected by recent flooding in the area.
The beneficiary communities are Agobledokui 263 persons, Sakome 129 persons and Dosukofe 74 persons, totaling 466 affected persons.
Items donated include 210 bags of rice, 88 cartons of fry oil, 14 bales of nuts, 50 basins, 100 buckets, 150 blankets, 150 mattresses, and 105 pairs of Wellington boots.

Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Sefe commended the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) for its swift response. He reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to ensuring the items are distributed promptly, transparently, and fairly.
“The devastation caused by the floods has left many families displaced and in distress. These items are to help cushion them while we work on long-term support and resettlement,” Hon. Sefe said.
The MP also appealed to individuals, corporate bodies, faith-based organizations, NGOs, and other stakeholders to support the Government’s efforts.
Assembly Members and NADMO officials received the items and assured that distribution to the 466 affected persons would begin immediately.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the MP, noting that the floods had destroyed homes, farms, and personal belongings.
