The Paramount Chief of Aflao and President of the Aflao Traditional Council, Torgbui Adzonugaga Amenya Fiti V, has been officially inaugurated and sworn in to the governing boards of the Ghana Tourism Authority and the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.
At the inauguration ceremony, Ms. Phyllis Engmann was sworn in as Board Chairperson of the Ghana Tourism Authority, while Torgbui Fiti V took the oath as a Board Member of the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.
Speaking after the ceremony, Torgbui Fiti V expressed gratitude for the appointments. He said the roles will provide an opportunity to leverage tourism, culture and the creative arts as vital engines for economic development.
The Aflao Paramount Chief also pledged to uphold the legacy of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and to proudly represent Ghana’s image on both boards.
