Accra, Aug. 10, 24Hour News – Chief Executive Officer of Sethport Company Limited, Mr. Dzamesi Seth, has donated sets of volleyball jerseys, volleyballs and other sports items to the Ghana Prisons Service Sports Directorate.
The donation was presented at the Directorate’s office in Accra as a “token of love” to support sports development and the welfare of personnel within the service.
Speaking after the presentation, Mr. Seth said the gesture was borne out of gratitude to God and a desire to give back to institutions that serve the nation.
“Lord God, I am extremely grateful for days and hours like these. A token of love to the Ghana Prisons Service Sports Directorate. I am a poor village boy. I have nothing, I own nothing, and I owe all to God. No politics, no religion,” he stated.

Mr. Seth noted that sports play a vital role in building discipline, unity, and physical wellbeing among security personnel. He added that supporting the Prisons Service in that area was his way of contributing to national development.
He further indicated that Sethport Company Limited remains committed to partnering with public institutions to promote youth development, sports, and community initiatives across the country.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Directorate, senior officers expressed appreciation to Mr. Seth for the support. They said the volleyball jerseys, volleyballs and other sports items would go a long way to enhance training, competitions, and morale among personnel.
The officers also commended Mr. Seth for his humility and for recognizing the work of the Ghana Prisons Service beyond its core mandate of corrections and rehabilitation.
