Volta Regional Minister James Gunu Meets Ho Teaching Hospital Board to Strengthen Healthcare Collaboration

KETU NORTH, Aug. 9, 24HourNews – Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu, has held a courtesy meeting with the Board of the Ho Teaching Hospital at the Volta Regional Co-ordinating Council.

The Board was led by its Chairman, Dr. Delanyo Yao Tsidi Dovlo.

According to the Minister, the engagement focused on strengthening collaboration between the Regional Co-ordinating Council and the Hospital to improve healthcare delivery across the Volta Region.

Key issues discussed included the Korean-EXIM Bank facility for the expansion of the Hospital, the mobilisation of resources for the establishment of the Cardio Centre, and measures to address the Hospital’s water supply challenges.

Mr. Gunu also emphasised the importance of responsible communication in safeguarding the reputation and integrity of the Hospital. He noted that collective efforts are needed to position the Ho Teaching Hospital as a centre of excellence and a destination for medical tourism.
