NPP Ketu North Constituency Delegates Vote Calmly in Dzodze Despite Late Start

KETU NORTH, Aug. 9, 24HourNews – The NPP Ketu North Constituency Executive elections wrapped up as planned in Dzodze on Saturday, even after organisers had to push back the start time.

By 4:00 pm, the official time for closure, 1,126 of the 1,203 accredited delegates had cast their votes.

Officials said the day went off without any trouble. After voting, delegates and aspirants stayed back at the centre to observe the sorting and counting of ballots.

Although there was an initial delay to address issues spotted with some ballot papers, the Electoral Commission team worked through it and still closed voting at the scheduled hour.

The counting process will now decide who makes up the new NPP executive for Ketu North.

Turnout was high and the race drew keen interest, but delegates remained patient throughout as officials set up for the count.

Party members welcomed the smooth conclusion, noting that despite the early hiccup the process ended peacefully and orderly.
