Coronation Of New Paramount Chief Torgbiga Addo IX Slated For October 25 In Klikor

Klikor, Volta Region – 24Hour News – August 4, 2026 – The Klikor Traditional Council has announced 25th October, 2026 as the date for the coronation of the new Fiaga of Klikor Traditional Area, Torgbiga Addo IX (PhD, DCOP RTD).

The date was contained in a letter dated 27th July, 2026 signed by Torgbiga Addo IX himself, announcing activities to formally enstool him as the Paramount Chief and President of the Klikor Traditional Council.

The coronation comes a day after the final funeral rites and burial of the late Paramount Chief, Torgbiga Addo VIII, scheduled for 24th October, 2026 at Klikor.

The Council has called on citizens and stakeholders to support preparations towards the historic ceremony.
