NHIA Deputy CEO: “Keta Hospital Has Been A Beacon Of Hope For Nearly 100 Years And Needs A Facelift”

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority, NHIA, Dr. Senanu Kwesi Djokoto, has called on citizens and stakeholders to support a facelift of the Keta Municipal Hospital ahead of its centenary celebration.

Dr. Djokoto said he recently visited the hospital at the request of Management to help mobilise support for the project.

“For nearly a hundred years, the hospital has been a beacon of hope, offering healing and service to countless families across the municipality and beyond,” he stated.

With the historic milestone approaching, Dr. Djokoto said it is prudent that sons and daughters of the land, stakeholders, and partners come together to honour the hospital’s legacy.

“By supporting this facelift, we secure the future of the hospital and ensure it continues to serve with dignity and excellence for generations yet unborn,” he added.

The Keta Municipal Hospital, established in 1926, is expected to mark 100 years of service next year.
