Newly Elected NPP National Officers Call On Dr Bawumia, Pledge Unity Ahead Of 2028

Accra, Oct. 7, 24HourNews — The newly elected National Officers of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, led by National Chairman Mr John Boadu, have paid a courtesy call on the party’s Presidential Candidate, H.E. Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

The meeting, which took place today, was to formally introduce the new executives to the flagbearer and reaffirm their commitment to the task ahead.

Addressing Dr Bawumia on behalf of the team, Mr Boadu said the new leadership is fully resolved to rally all members behind the party’s presidential bid.

He assured the flagbearer that the National Officers will work to unite the party, energise the grassroots, and mobilise a formidable front to secure victory in the 2028 general elections with a strong parliamentary majority.

According to him, unity remains paramount if the party is to present a common front and retain the confidence of Ghanaians.

Dr Bawumia, on his part, congratulated the new officers on their election and commended them for the swift engagement.

He urged them to be inclusive leaders and to carry every member along, stressing that the party’s strength lies in its grassroots.

He noted that the road to 2028 demands hard work, discipline and a united party machinery ready to defend its record and sell its vision for Ghana.

The visit marks an important step in the party’s preparations as it seeks to rebuild cohesion and momentum ahead of the next general elections.
