Minister For Local Government, Chieftaincy And Religious Affairs Joins Asogli State To Celebrate 2026 Asogli Te Za

Ho, Oct. 4, 24HourNews – The Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim, says he was delighted to join the Asogli State and the people of Ho for the 2026 Asogli Te Za Yam Festival.

In a message, he described the festival as a celebration that beautifully reflects the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the people of the Asogli State.

According to him, the occasion brought together traditional leaders, government representatives and the people of the Volta Region in a spirit of unity, pride and togetherness.

“I was pleased to share this memorable celebration and honour the traditions that continue to define our diversity of purpose,” the Minister stated.

The 2026 Asogli Te Za was climaxed with a colourful grand durbar at the Jubilee Park in Ho on Saturday, on the theme “United in Purpose, Investing in People and Infrastructure for Sustainable National Development.”
