Accra, Sept. 30, 24HourNews – The management of Nukunu Football Club has accepted the resignation of its Head Coach, Christian Chibueze.
The club announced this in a statement issued on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
According to the statement, Coach Chibueze cited personal reasons for his decision to step down from his role.
Management has appointed Assistant Coach Simon Kojo Antwi to take charge of the team in the interim until a substantive head coach is appointed.
The club expressed appreciation to Coach Chibueze for his work and contribution to the team during his tenure.
In the statement, the club said, “We appreciate the work Christian Chibueze has done for the club and wish him the very best in his career. He will always remain a part of the Nukunu FC family.”
Nukunu FC is expected to announce a new head coach in the coming days.
