Ketu North MCE Assures Chiefs Of Ehi Health Facility Upgrade  

Ehi, Sept. 30, 24HourNews – The Municipal Chief Executive for Ketu North, Hon. Rev. Martin Amenaki, has assured chiefs and people of Ehi of plans to upgrade the Ehi health facility into a polyclinic with nurses quarters.

He gave the assurance during the 10th edition of the Galiza celebration held at Ehi over the weekend.

According to the MCE, the upgrade has become necessary due to the growing population of the area and the need to improve access to quality healthcare delivery for residents.

Hon. Rev. Amenaki said the Assembly is committed to working with relevant stakeholders to ensure the project comes to fruition, noting that health remains a priority under his administration.

He stated that when completed, the polyclinic will help reduce pressure on other health facilities in the Municipality and ensure residents receive better healthcare services closer to home.

He also indicated that the nurses quarters component will address accommodation challenges for health workers posted to the facility.

The chiefs and people of Ehi welcomed the announcement, describing it as a step in the right direction that will improve lives in the community.

The 10th Galiza festival brought together chiefs, elders, opinion leaders and residents to celebrate the culture and unity of the people of Ehi.
