Duamenefa Foundation Appoints Christian Corlley As Acting Chairman Of Local Organizing Committee

Dzodze, Sept. 28, 24HourNews – The Duamenefa Foundation has appointed Mr. Christian Corlley as the Acting Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, LOC, of the Duamenefa Regional Tournament.

The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was contained in a letter dated 19th September, 2026, and signed by the Executive President of the Foundation, Emmanuel Ketaman Evortepe, and the Secretary to the Board of Governors, Rev. Diane W. Westcott.

According to the letter, Mr. Corlley’s appointment is in recognition of his competency, commitment, leadership qualities, experience and demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate and manage tournament-related activities.

As Acting Chairman, Mr. Corlley is expected to manage and coordinate the activities of the LOC and ensure the successful organization and conclusion of the Duamenefa Regional Tournament.

His responsibilities include coordinating referees and all officiating officials to ensure effective, fair and professional officiating throughout the competition.

He is also tasked with identifying and selecting outstanding players from participating teams for consideration and further development by Sesi Edem Football Academy, in accordance with the objectives of the tournament.

Mr. Corlley will coordinate logistics and activities of the Grand Durbar, ensuring all programmes associated with the event are properly organized and executed, and will liaise and report to the Acting General Manager on all major activities, decisions, challenges and transactions relating to the tournament.

He is also expected to perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Executive President or the appropriate authority of the Duamenefa Foundation.

The Foundation urged him to work closely with members of the LOC, tournament officials, participating teams, sponsors, partners and other relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful execution of the tournament.

The Foundation expressed confidence that his experience, dedication and leadership will contribute significantly to the successful organization of the Duamenefa Regional Tournament and congratulated him on his appointment.
