Ketu North NADMO Appeals For Vehicles And Equipment To Strengthen Disaster Management

The National Disaster Management Organisation, NADMO, Ketu North Directorate is appealing to the general public, corporate organisations, non-governmental organisations, development partners, and benevolent individuals for urgent support to strengthen disaster response operations in the municipality.

According to the Directorate, the recent disasters in June severely affected several communities and households across Ketu North, placing enormous pressure on its operations.

While the Directorate’s commitment to protecting lives and property remains unwavering, inadequate logistics continue to hinder its ability to respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, particularly in hard-to-reach communities.

The Ketu North NADMO Directorate currently faces serious operational challenges due to the lack of a reliable vehicle, motorbikes, and other essential logistics needed for disaster assessment, emergency response, public education, and monitoring. These limitations delay interventions and increase the risk of preventable losses during emergencies.

NADMO Ketu North is therefore making a humble appeal for the donation of at least one motorbike and other logistical support to enhance its operations. Such support will significantly improve mobility, strengthen emergency response, and enable the Directorate to serve the people of Ketu North more efficiently.

The Directorate added that every contribution, regardless of its size, will make a meaningful difference in helping to safeguard lives and build more resilient communities.

For further information or to offer support, kindly contact the Ketu North NADMO Directorate.
