GAMEY ADR Institute Partners Ketu North MP To Train Chiefs And Queen Mothers In ADR

Dzodze, Sept. 22, 24HourNews – The Gamey ADR Institute in collaboration with the Office of the Member of Parliament for Ketu North Constituency is set to organize a special ADR Training and Professional Certification Course for Chiefs and Queen Mothers in Ketu North.

The training, which is being spearheaded by the MP, Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, is scheduled for Saturday, 10th October, 2026 at the Ketu North Municipal Assembly Hall, Dzodze, from 7:30am to 5:00pm.

The one-day intensive programme is aimed at equipping traditional leaders with modern Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) skills to enhance peacebuilding, conflict resolution and effective leadership within their traditional areas.

The course will be facilitated by renowned Alternative Dispute Resolution Expert, Austin Akufo Gamey, who is the founder of the Gamey ADR Institute and a leading authority in labour and conflict resolution in Ghana.

According to organizers, participants will be taken through practical ADR mechanisms including mediation, negotiation and arbitration, and will receive professional certification at the end of the training.

Hon. Eric Edem Agbana said the initiative forms part of his commitment to strengthening traditional governance and promoting peace and development in Ketu North, noting that Chiefs and Queen Mothers play a critical role in maintaining social cohesion.

The training is expected to bring together Chiefs and Queen Mothers from across the Ketu North Municipality for a day of learning, experience sharing and capacity building.
