Dzodze, Sept. 18, 24HourNews – Newly promoted Division One League side, Nukunu FC, has donated assorted items to In My Father’s House Orphanage as part of its preparations towards its debut match against Nania FC on Saturday.
The donation, led by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the club, Mr. Frank Marshall Agobah, formed part of the club’s commitment to community development and social responsibility.
Mr. Agobah was accompanied by the Team Manager and three Deputy Captains of the club.
The items presented included biscuits, toilet rolls, soaps, drinks, bottled water, packs of milk and a cash donation to support the welfare of the children.
Speaking during the visit, Mr. Agobah said the gesture was aimed at extending love and care to the children while demonstrating that football goes beyond the pitch.
He noted that the visit was also to seek the prayers and blessings of the children ahead of the club’s historic first match in the Access Bank Division One League against Nania FC in Accra.
He expressed appreciation to the management and caregivers of In My Father’s House Orphanage for their dedication and selfless service to vulnerable children.
Management of the orphanage thanked Nukunu FC for the support, describing it as timely and heartwarming.
Mr. Agobah reaffirmed the club’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with local communities through initiatives that promote hope, compassion, unity and social development.
