Ghanaian international Osman Bukari registered an assist to help Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade secure qualification in the UEFA Champions League second-leg tie against Northern Ireland’s Larne FC.
Bukari, who started the game, was instrumental in attack and set up one of Red Star’s goals as the Serbian giants sealed their place in the next round of the qualifiers.
The Black Stars winger has been in fine form during the European preseason, with his pace and creativity proving crucial for Red Star Belgrade’s campaign to reach the Champions League group stage.
Tuesday’s second-leg result adds to Red Star’s aggregate advantage after a strong first-leg performance. The Serbian side will now await their next opponent in the third qualifying round draw.
Bukari, 27, joined Red Star Belgrade in 2022 and has since become a key figure for the club, contributing goals and assists both domestically and in Europe.
His latest assist will further boost his confidence ahead of Ghana’s upcoming international fixtures later this year.
