Dzodze-Deme to Be Connected to National Grid on Monday – Agbana Announces

Dzodze – Aug. 30 – 24HourNews – The Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, has announced that the Dzodze-Deme community will be connected to the national electricity grid on Monday, August 31.

According to the MP, the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has completed all necessary works to power the community.

He made the announcement during his Quarterly Accountability Series held at Dekpor Dome, noting that the long-awaited electrification project has reached its final stage.

For years, residents of Dzodze-Deme have lived without electricity, a situation that has hampered economic activities, education, and general livelihoods.

Hon. Agbana explained that the connection forms part of ongoing efforts to extend electricity to underserved communities in the Ketu North Constituency under his development agenda, dubbed The Ketu North Project.

The community is expected to be switched on tomorrow, a development that has brought relief and excitement to residents.

Officials of the ECG are expected to be on site to complete the final connection and energise the community.
