
Tema – Aug. 28 – 24HourNews – The Member of Parliament for Tema West, James Enu, has launched the 2026 edition of his Back to School SHS Project, aimed at supporting qualified Junior High School graduates across the constituency as they prepare to begin Senior High School.
The initial phase of the initiative involves the distribution of 1,000 sets of essential items, including chop boxes, mattresses and other supplies needed by students entering SHS.
The items will be distributed across the 11 wards of the Tema West Constituency, namely Lashibi, Halcrow, Sakumono Estate, Kaiser, Wolei, Railways, Adjei-Kojo, Baatsona, Klagon, Kassadjan and Dzata-Bu.
The project is intended to ease the financial burden on families and provide practical support to students transitioning from basic to secondary education, with beneficiaries drawn from both public and private JHSs within the constituency.
