
Kpetoe – Aug. 27 – 24HourNews – The Kpetoe Fire Station of the Ghana National Fire Service has honoured Divisional Officer Grade III (DOIII) Rose Kludje on her retirement after 34 years of dedicated service.
The send-off ceremony, held on Monday, 24th August 2026 at the Kpetoe Fire Station in the Agotime-Ziope District, was attended by officers and men of the Service, who gathered to celebrate her long and meritorious career.
Until her retirement, DOIII Kludje served as Officer in Charge of Safety at the Kpetoe Fire Station, where she was noted for her diligence, professionalism and commitment to duty.

Speaking on behalf of the Volta Regional Commander, the Regional Deputy Commander, DOI Walter Drayi, commended DOIII Kludje for her selfless service, unwavering dedication and immense contribution to the growth of the Service in the region.
He described her as a hardworking and disciplined officer who served as a role model to many young officers and wished her good health, peace and fulfilment in retirement.
In her response, DOIII Kludje expressed profound gratitude to the Volta Regional Command, the leadership and personnel of Kpetoe Fire Station, and all colleagues who supported her throughout her 34-year journey.
She said her success in the Service was as a result of teamwork and the encouragement she received from her superiors and subordinates.
The ceremony ended with colleagues showering praises on her and wishing her a peaceful, healthy and enjoyable retirement life.
