Mawuli School Cadet Gets GH¢35,000 Boost From Speaker Bagbin For New Uniforms

Accra – Aug. 27 – 24HourNews – The Cadet Corps of Mawuli School in Ho has received a major facelift following a GH¢35,000 donation from the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin.

The financial support is to enable the school to procure new uniforms and other logistics for the Cadet Corps, whose smart appearance and disciplined display remain a pride of the school.

According to sources close to the school, the intervention by the Speaker came at a time when the Cadet Corps was in need of retooling to enhance its operations and participation in ceremonial and national activities.

The donation is expected to not only improve the outlook of the Corps but also boost morale among cadets, encouraging discipline, patriotism, teamwork and leadership among students.

School authorities have lauded Speaker Bagbin for what they describe as a timely and impactful gesture, noting that his commitment to youth development and discipline continues to inspire educational institutions across the country.

They assured that the funds will be put to judicious use to fully equip the Corps and sustain its high standards.
