NPP Volta Chairman Makafui Woanya Heads Regional Chairmen Caucus

Accra – Aug. 26 – 24HourNews – Volta Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Makafui Kofi Woanyah, has been elected Dean of the NPP Regional Chairmen Caucus.

His election puts him at the head of the 16-member body of regional leaders of the party.

The Volta Regional branch of the NPP, in a congratulatory statement, said the elevation reflects the trust and confidence reposed in him by his colleagues nationwide.

According to the party, his experience and leadership qualities made him the preferred choice to lead the Caucus at a crucial time.

As Dean, Hon. Woanyah will be responsible for coordinating activities of Regional Chairmen, ensuring cohesion among them, and leading engagements with the national leadership on party matters.

The Volta NPP said the appointment is not only a personal honour for Hon. Woanyah but also a major boost for the Volta Region, as it amplifies the region’s voice in the party’s decision-making structure.

The party wished him well in his new role and expressed optimism that he will bring wisdom and unity to the Caucus.
