Chiefs And People Of Dzodze To Climax Deza Festival On October 31  

Dzodze – Aug. 23 – 24HourNews – The chiefs and people of Dzodze in the Ketu North Municipality of the Volta Region will climax the 2026 Dzodze Deza Festival with a grand durbar on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Dzodze.

The festival, celebrated annually, showcases the rich culture, history, and heritage of the people of Dzodze, while promoting unity and development.

This year’s celebration is expected to attract chiefs and queen mothers, natives of Dzodze both home and in the diaspora, political leaders, and guests from across the country.

Activities lined up for the celebration include traditional rites, cultural displays, a display of chieftaincy and tradition, health walks, community development initiatives, and a grand durbar of chiefs and people.

Dzodze Deza is one of the major festivals in the Volta Region. It serves as a platform for fostering communal unity, mobilizing resources for development projects, and preserving the cultural identity of the people.
