Accra, Sept. 30, 24HourNews – Coach Christian Chibueze, popularly known as Mourinho, has officially stepped down as Head Coach of Nukunu FC.
In an official statement released on Monday, Coach Chibueze confirmed that his resignation has been formally submitted, accepted and communicated by the club.
“I wish to inform my followers, colleagues, friends, players and the football community that I have officially stepped down from my position as Head Coach of Nukunu FC,” he stated.
He described the decision as a difficult one, noting that his time at the club has been an important chapter in his coaching journey.
“My time at Nukunu FC has been an important chapter in my coaching journey, and I am grateful to the Club President, management, players, technical team, supporters and everyone who contributed to my time at the club,” he said.
Coach Chibueze expressed gratitude to all who supported him during his tenure and said he leaves with valuable experiences and memories.
“I leave with gratitude, valuable experiences and memories that I will carry forward in my career,” he added.
He further stated that he remains focused and motivated for the next challenge ahead.
“Football is a journey, and every chapter comes with its lessons. I remain focused, motivated and committed to my development as a coach and to the next challenge ahead,” he noted.
Coach Chibueze also wished Nukunu FC success for the remainder of the season and beyond.
Nukunu FC is yet to announce a replacement for the departed coach.
