Anlo MP Distributes Exercise Books To Pupils In Deprived Communities

Anloga, Sept. 30, 24HourNews – The Member of Parliament for Anlo Constituency, Hon. Richard Kwame Sefe, has begun the distribution of exercise books to pupils in deprived and underserved communities across the constituency.

The initiative targets pupils from Primary 3 to JHS 3 and is aimed at supporting children and easing the financial burden on parents and guardians.

According to the MP, education remains one of the most important investments in the future of communities, but for many families in underserved areas, the cost of basic school supplies places an additional burden on parents.

“As part of my commitment to supporting education and easing this burden, I have initiated the distribution of exercise books to pupils from Primary 3 to JHS 3 in deprived and underserved communities across the constituency,” Hon. Sefe said.

Communities covered under the initiative include Fuveme, Atiteti, Tunu, Bomigo, Kpordui, Sodzi, Adzato, Akplorfudzi and other communities, with some scheduled to receive their supplies in the coming week.

Hon. Sefe noted that while the intervention may appear modest, meaningful change often begins with addressing the everyday needs that stand between a child and his or her education.

“No child should have to struggle with basic learning materials simply because of the circumstances of their community or family,” he stated.

The MP expressed gratitude to teachers, community leaders, parents and all stakeholders supporting the initiative to ensure children have the basic tools they need to learn, grow and pursue their dreams.

He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to education and the development of the people of Anlo, adding that he will continue to identify practical ways of supporting schools, easing the burden on families and creating opportunities for the next generation.

“When we invest in our children, we invest in the future of Anlo,” he added.
