Dzodze, Sept. 27, 24HourNews – The Duamenefa Foundation, FAFAA 100.3 FM has revoked the appointment of Patrick Amazing Doamekpor as Director of Sports and Executive Board of Governors member with immediate effect.
In a letter dated 19th September, 2026, signed by Executive President, Emmanuel Ketaman Evortepe, and referenced PAD/DF/DOS/002/09/26, the Foundation said the decision was necessitated by what it considers to be gross misconduct, insubordination and insolence in the discharge of his primary responsibilities.
The letter, which refers to his appointment dated 22nd August 2022, thanked Mr. Doamekpor for his four years of voluntary service to the organization.
It stated that his conduct and attitude have seriously affected the hard-earned corporate reputation of the Executive President and the entire 48,764-member volunteer movement of the Duamenefa Foundation.
The Foundation has directed Mr. Doamekpor to submit with immediate effect all corporate documents and records in his possession, including all information and documentation concerning young footballer GAKLI Freeman, who was under his care and guidance, to the Director of Monitoring, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Nartey.
It said the directive is to ensure a smooth transition and proper institutional record-keeping.
The Foundation further appreciated his contributions and voluntary service and wished him well in his future endeavours.
The revocation comes weeks after Mr. Doamekpor, in a letter dated 5th September, 2026, announced his resignation from the Foundation, citing loss of confidence in leadership and concerns over the handling of Freeman Gakli Jr’s travel to Cyprus.
