Penyi, Sept. 22, 24HourNews – The small but vibrant town of Penyi in the Ketu North Municipality is set to come alive on Saturday, 17th October, 2026 as the Infinity Stars Hotel presents the 2026 edition of the Penyi Nugoryiza Bash with Wendy Shay.
This year’s edition promises to be the biggest yet, with RuffTown Records’ star Wendy Shay headlining, supported by two of Volta’s finest musical exports, Keeny Ice and Jah Phinga.
The event, proudly presented by Infinity Stars Hotel in collaboration with Raingad, will take place at the plush Infinity Stars Hotel located off the Ehi Road in Penyi.
The concert is expected to attract music lovers from across Ketu North, Ketu South, Akatsi, and beyond, continuing its reputation as one of the most patronized community concerts in southern Volta.
On the night, Wendy Shay, known for hit songs like ‘Survivor’, ‘Uber Driver’ and ‘Shay On You’, is expected to thrill fans with a live band performance and back-to-back hits.
Volta’s own Keeny Ice, the ‘Ewe Machine’ and award-winning afrobeat act, and Jah Phinga, known for his energetic stagecraft and conscious vibes, will bring the local flavour to the big stage.
To keep the party going all night, organizers have lined up top DJs including DJ Gbagbo, DJ Neyman, DJ Stephen and DJ PM, while renowned hype men Martin Rhuny and Black Eye will be on the microphone duties.
According to organizers, red carpet and fans interaction will start at 5:00PM with the main show kicking off at 9:00PM.
Tickets are selling at a cool GH100, with a special early bird package going for GH80 for early purchasers.
Management of Infinity Stars Hotel says the event is part of its commitment to promoting entertainment and tourism in Penyi and creating a platform for both mainstream and local talents to connect with fans.
