Anlo Awadada Urges Youth To Champion Unity And Development  

Anloga, Sept. 21, 24HourNews – The Awadada of Anlo, Torgbi Awusu II, has charged the youth of Anlo to champion unity, development and advocacy for the progress of Anlo Dukor.

He made the call at the handing-over ceremony of the Anlo Youth Council, AYC, where he reiterated his commitment to supporting the council.

Torgbi Awusu II recounted the history and formation of the AYC and highlighted its role in fostering unity, development and collective action in Anlo.

He described the youth as the bedrock of society and said they have a crucial role to play in addressing challenges facing Anlo and the country at large.

The Awadada also expressed concern about divisions within the traditional area, citing chieftaincy disagreements and claims by some chiefs that they are not part of Anlo Dukor.

He urged the youth not to remain passive observers but to take an active role in promoting unity and protecting the collective interests of Anlo.

According to him, the youth must become champions of development and constructive advocacy to drive the transformation of Anlo Dukor.
