Nilex Corp Donates $259,000 Medical Equipment To Ghana Medical Trust Fund

Accra, Sept. 18, 24HourNews – Nilex Corp Company Limited, producers and suppliers of medical equipment, has donated medical equipment valued at US$259,000 to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (Mahama Cares).

The donation was made as part of activities marking the first anniversary of the Trust Fund.

The items donated include five handheld ultrasound machines, one AirRay-20 POSKOM portable X-ray machine, four 10 LPM oxygen concentrators, four 5 LPM oxygen concentrators and three OXUS oxygen plants.

The equipment is expected to support the Trust Fund’s efforts to strengthen access to specialised healthcare and improve treatment capacity for patients living with chronic non-communicable diseases across the country.

The Ghana Medical Trust Fund expressed profound gratitude to Nilex Corp for the gesture, describing it as remarkable and impactful.

According to the Fund, partnerships such as this are critical to building a stronger healthcare system and expanding access to life-saving care for Ghanaians who need it most.

It said the donation stands as a powerful demonstration of what can be achieved when the private sector collaborates with national efforts to improve healthcare delivery.
