GEXIM CEO Hails Northshore Apparel Hub As Proof Of Ghanaian Industrial Capacity.

Accra – Aug. 30 – 24HourNews – The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Export-Import Bank (Ghana Exim Bank), Sylvester Adinam Mensah, has described the Northshore Apparel Hub as proof that wholly Ghanaian-owned businesses can undertake large-scale industrial projects capable of competing on the global stage.

Mr. Mensah made the remarks during a working visit to the facility, where he expressed satisfaction with the scale of investment, the modern equipment installed, and the number of jobs being created for Ghanaians, particularly women and youth.

According to him, the Hub aligns perfectly with GEXIM’s mandate to support export-led industrialization and value addition, noting that the garment and apparel sector holds enormous potential for foreign exchange earnings and employment.

He noted that Ghana has the capacity to become a leading apparel manufacturing hub in West Africa if more private investors receive the needed financial and technical support.

The Northshore Apparel Hub is expected to produce garments for both local and international markets, strengthening Ghana’s position in the global apparel value chain.
