Akatsi – Aug. 29 – 24HourNews – The Municipal Chief Executive for Akatsi South, Daniel Dagba, has paid a working visit to two major construction sites in the municipality.
The first site was the construction of a bus stop at the popular Accra Station, directly in front of Wemegah Stores. According to the MCE, the project is critical to ensuring public safety and proper organization of activities at the busy lorry station.
His second stop was the abandoned semi-detached two-bedroom bungalow at the Municipal Assembly premises. The project, initiated by Hon. Peter Nortsu-Kotoe, then DCE for Akatsi District in 2010, before the creation of Akatsi South and North, has since been left uncompleted.

Mr. Dagba was accompanied by the Municipal Works Engineer, Mr. Mike Asare, the Physical Planning Officer, Mr. Benjamin Abroakwa, Mr. Fergurson Kofigah, and the NADMO Director, Mr. Daniel Gidi.
He noted that work on both sites is progressing steadily and reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to completing key projects that improve safety and enhance working conditions in the municipality.
