Ho – Aug. 28 – 24HourNews – The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr. John Abdulai Jinapor, will this morning launch the Big Push Electrification Project in Ho.
The initiative by President John Dramani Mahama is aimed at ensuring many more communities are connected to the national grid.
Under this phase, more than 200 communities across the Volta Region will be connected to the national grid within the next six months.
Member of Parliament for Ketu North Constituency, Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, who disclosed this, said he has taken a keen interest in the project throughout the design phase.
“I can only commend the Minister for this great initiative. John Jinapor is a detailed and technically sound expert, and if we follow through with the implementation plan, I am confident that, under his watch, every community will have access to reliable power in the next couple of years,” he said.
He added that at the next Accountability Series, he will mention the communities in Ketu North Constituency that will benefit from the first phase.
