POJOSS Science And Maths Quiz Team Calls On UCC Vice-Chancellor Ahead Of NSMQ 2026.

 

Cape Coast – Aug. 28 – 24HourNews – The Science and Mathematics Quiz Team of Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary (POJOSS) has paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Prof. Denis Worlanyo Aheto, ahead of its participation in the 2026 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) competition.

The visit allowed the team to interact with Prof. Aheto, who is an alumnus of the school, and to seek his support and encouragement ahead of the competition.

The delegation included the President of the POJOBA Cape Coast Chapter, Prof. Michael Anang; the Vice President, Dr. Eugene Kwateng-Nantwi; other members of the Chapter; as well as four teachers and 20 students.

Prof. Aheto warmly welcomed the team and encouraged the students to remain focused, disciplined and confident as they prepare to compete. He assured them of his full support throughout the competition and during their stay on the UCC campus, which will host this year’s NSMQ.

As part of his support for the team, Prof. Aheto made a cash donation to assist with their financial needs during the competition.

The team expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor for his encouragement and support.
