Vume – Aug. 28 – 24HourNews – Deputy National Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dzifa Tegah, has commissioned 10 mechanised boreholes at Vume in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region.
The project, implemented through her Impala Foundation, seeks to address the community’s longstanding water challenges and improve access to clean and reliable water.

Although Vume is located along the Volta River, residents have faced persistent difficulties accessing potable water, forcing many to rely on unsafe sources.
The initiative forms part of efforts to improve living conditions and promote sustainable development in the community.

Speaking at the commissioning, Ms. Tegah reaffirmed her commitment to supporting deprived communities with basic social amenities, particularly water and sanitation.
