Ghana Medical Trust Fund Strengthens Frontline As It Closes First Year.

Accra – Aug. 28 – 24HourNews – The Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF) has held a capacity-building session for its frontline staff as it approaches the end of its first year of operations.

As part of efforts to improve service delivery, the Fund brought together all its Regional Coordinators and Patient Navigating Officers from across the country for a hands-on session on operational efficiency.

The engagement covered the Tariffs Operational Manual, Medicines List, the GMTFcare process flow, and experience sharing from the various partner hospitals where the Fund is present. The session was aimed at equipping frontline teams for smoother, smarter and more responsive service delivery.

For Administrator Madam Adjoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku, the gathering was also a moment to appreciate the people who have carried the vision through its demanding first year. She thanked the team for their commitment, sacrifices and the many hours of work behind every patient supported and every milestone reached.

As the Trust Fund prepares to enter its second year, she reminded them that behind every process, referral and approval is a person hoping for another chance at life.

She noted that the first year has laid the foundation, adding that the task now is to serve even better, reach further and ensure that hope gets to the people who need it most.
