Volta Regional Minister Engages NSA On Sports Development  

 

Ho – Aug. 25 – 24HourNews – Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu, on Monday, August 25, 2026, held a meeting with the leadership of the National Sports Authority (NSA), led by Director General Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, to discuss the way forward for sports development in the region.

 

The engagement focused on strategies to revive and improve sporting infrastructure, nurture local talents, and position the Volta Region as a hub for sports excellence.

 

According to the Minister, collaboration with the NSA is key to unlocking the region’s huge potential in sports, especially among the youth.

 

The meeting is expected to lead to concrete steps aimed at boosting sports development across the Volta Region.
