Water Restored in Egekorpe Following MP Edem Agbana’s Swift Intervention.

Dzodze, Ketu North – August 24, 2026 – 24HourNews – Residents of Egekorpe in the Adrume Electoral Area of the Ketu North Municipality are jubilating over the restoration of potable water to the community after a timely intervention by the Member of Parliament, Hon. Edem Agbana.

For several months, the community’s main water pipeline, which serves as its only source of safe drinking water, had broken down. The situation forced households to endure severe water scarcity.

According to the Assembly Member for the area, Hon. Hope Detikey, the issue was formally reported to the MP’s office for assistance.

In a swift response, Hon. Agbana dispatched and sponsored a technical team to the community. In less than an hour after arriving, the team repaired the damaged pipeline and restored water flow.

Beyond the repairs, the team engaged community leaders and encouraged them to promptly report any future challenges to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

The intervention has drawn widespread praise from residents, who described it as a demonstration of responsive leadership and effective collaboration between the MP and his constituents.

“Water is life. This shows that when leaders listen and act quickly, governance works for the people,” one resident remarked.

Hon. Agbana’s office has reaffirmed its commitment to addressing basic social needs across Ketu North, stressing that prompt action on community concerns remains at the heart of his mandate.

Residents have expressed profound gratitude to the MP, noting that his consistent support continues to improve livelihoods across the municipality.
