John Dumelo Empowers Volta Women With Bulk Purchase Of 10,000 Bowls Of Gari For SHS Freshers

Accra – Aug. 23 – 24HourNews – Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Hon. John Dumelo, has made a bulk purchase of more than 10,000 bowls of gari from women processors in the Volta Region.

The gari will be distributed to students in his constituency who have gained admission to Senior High School as part of their essential provisions for school.

The initiative serves a dual purpose – easing the financial burden on parents preparing their wards for SHS, while simultaneously boosting the businesses of local women in the gari value chain.
