Dzodze – Aug. 23 – 24HourNews – The Chiefs and people of Dzodze in the Ketu North Municipality of the Volta Region will officially launch the 2026 Dzodze Deza Festival on Friday, September 26, 2026, at the Dzodze-Penyi Senior High School.
The launch will mark the beginning of preparations towards this year’s edition of the annual festival which celebrates the rich culture, history and unity of the people of Dzodze.
Organizers say the event will unveil the theme, activities and calendar for the 2026 celebration, and bring together traditional leaders, stakeholders, citizens home and abroad, and the general public.
Dzodze Deza, one of the prominent festivals in the Volta Region, is celebrated to foster development, promote cultural heritage and strengthen communal bonds.
The Planning Committee is inviting all natives of Dzodze, both home and in the diaspora, as well as friends of the community to attend the launch and support a successful celebration.
