
Ketu North, August 18, 2026, 24Hour News_ – The Municipal Chief Executive for Ketu North Municipal Assembly, Hon. Rev. Martin Amenaki, today hosted Her Excellency Mrs. Ndiyakupi Nghituwamata, Namibia’s High Commissioner to Ghana, as part of her familiarisation visit to the Volta Region.
Speaking after the engagement, Hon. Rev. Amenaki said the visit provided an opportunity for meaningful conversations on how to grow together.
“We discussed boosting agriculture and supporting local businesses, as well as deepening cultural and development ties between Namibia and our municipality,” he stated.
A highlight of the visit was a tour of Maphlix Trust Ghana Ltd at Tadzewu. The High Commissioner commended the company for its impressive work.
“As one of West Africa’s major exporters of vegetables and fruits, Maphlix is a shining example of what is possible when we invest in agriculture,” Hon. Rev. Amenaki said.
He expressed appreciation to Her Excellency for honouring Ketu North with her visit.
“Ketu North remains open for partnerships that will create jobs, expand markets for our farmers, and improve lives across our communities,” the MCE added.
The visit forms part of efforts by the Assembly to attract international cooperation and investment to the municipality.
