NDC Reorganization: Daniel Hamenu (Chica) Declares For Deputy Volta Regional Youth Organizer

Volta Region, Aug. 17, 24Hour News – Acting Volta Regional Director of the Youth Employment Agency, Hon. Daniel Hamenu (Chica), has officially declared his intention to contest for Deputy Volta Regional Youth Organizer in the upcoming NDC party reorganization slated for November.

In a declaration statement released today, Hon. Hamenu said his decision is rooted in years of grassroots dedication, sacrifice, and relentless activism within the NDC.

“My name is Daniel Hamenu (Chica), and I am officially declaring my intention to contest for the position of Deputy Volta Regional Youth Organizer in the upcoming NDC party reorganization this November,” he stated.

Hon. Hamenu noted that his party experience spans several roles including Branch Executive, Polling Agent, Election Task Force Member, Elected Assembly Member, and member of both Ketu North and Regional Communications Teams. He is currently serving his second term as Ketu North Constituency Youth Organizer.

“Through these roles, I understand the pulse, struggles, and aspirations of the Volta youth,” he added.

As Acting Volta Regional Director of YEA, he said he brings administrative competence and a commitment to youth empowerment and party mobilization.

He outlined three core commitments if elected:

Political observers say the entry of Hon. Hamenu adds momentum to the upcoming NDC regional youth elections as the party begins laying groundwork for 2028.
