Dzodze, Aug. 10, 24Hour News – The Member of Parliament for Ketu North Constituency, Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, has commenced an orientation and empowerment programme for Branch Executives across the constituency, beginning with the Dzodze Zone.
The initiative is aimed at equipping and empowering party leaders at the branch level with the knowledge, skills and support needed to strengthen the party ahead of future elections.
Speaking at the Dzodze Zone session, Hon. Agbana described the branches as “the foundation of our great party.”
“The branches are the foundation of our great party. It is therefore important that we equip and empower our leaders at that level with the knowledge, skills and support needed for the task ahead,” he said.
The MP stated that the party is determined to improve on the 87% of votes secured in the last election in the constituency.
“We will achieve this through performance, strong grassroots engagement and an effective party machinery. The work starts from the branches. We are ready,” he added.
Hon. Agbana indicated that the orientation and empowerment exercise will be extended to all zones within Ketu North to ensure that branch executives are well-resourced and aligned to deliver at the grassroots.
Party executives and branch leaders present at the Dzodze Zone programme expressed commitment to work hard to consolidate and increase the party’s support in the constituency.
