Keta Municipal Hospital Gets GH¢2m+ Lifeline in Medical Equipment Donation

KETA, Aug. 7, 24HourNews – Healthcare services at the Keta Municipal Hospital have been given a major boost following the presentation of medical supplies valued at over GH¢2 million to the facility.

The donation was facilitated by philanthropist Lom Nuku Ahlijah, in collaboration with the Living Presence Evangelistic Network. The consignment includes a range of essential medical items aimed at improving patient care, equipping emergency units, and supporting frontline health workers.

Speaking at the handover, hospital management described the gesture as timely and crucial, adding that the support will go a long way to address gaps caused by rising patient numbers and limited resources.

Mr. Ahlijah, who led the donation, said investment in health is key to sustainable community growth. He appealed to corporate institutions, individuals, and NGOs to join hands with government to equip health facilities across the country.

Officials from the Living Presence Evangelistic Network also noted that the partnership reflects their commitment to improving wellbeing at the grassroots level.

The intervention highlights the increasing impact of public-private collaborations and community-driven initiatives in strengthening healthcare delivery in the Keta Municipality and the Volta Region at large.
