Ketu North, Volta Region – 24Hour News – August 4, 2026 – Member of Parliament for Ketu North and owner of Nukunu FC, Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, is celebrating the club’s 3rd anniversary today, describing its journey from Division Three to Division One as “nothing short of extraordinary.”
In a statement, Hon. Agbana said the feat is a testament to vision, hard work, sacrifice, discipline, and God’s unfailing grace.
“Starting from Division Three and earning promotion to Division One in just three years is nothing short of extraordinary. I may be wrong, but I do not know of any other club that has achieved this feat in such a short time,” he stated.
The MP used the occasion to appreciate everyone who has contributed to the club’s growth.
“Today, we celebrate and appreciate everyone who has been part of this incredible story: our prayer warriors, the vision bearers, our loyal fans, every player who has ever worn our colours with pride, our management, technical team, staff, partners, and supporters. This achievement belongs to all of you,” he said.
Hon. Agbana noted that while reaching Division One is a major milestone, it is only the beginning for the club.
“We have reached Division One, but this is only the beginning. We are here to compete, to make our mark, and to build a football club that will inspire generations,” he added.
“Happy 3rd Anniversary, Nukunu FC. The journey continues. The dream lives on.”
