
The Deputy Chief Executive (Operations) of the National Health Insurance Authority, Dr. Senanu Kwesi Djokoto, has described the entry of HEEL TPA into specialised Third-Party Administrator services as a major milestone for Ghana’s health sector.
Speaking at the event on July 24, 2026, Dr. Djokoto said HEEL TPA’s launch marks a bold step in Ghana’s digital healthcare revolution, bringing real-time claims processing, stronger provider relationships, and enhanced customer satisfaction.
“I am confident that HEEL TPA will strengthen our health financing system through innovation, operational excellence, and specialised expertise,” he stated.
The NHIA Deputy CEO encouraged the Governing Board and management of HEEL TPA to remain steadfast in professionalism, integrity, accountability, and customer service as they build on KEK’s legacy.
“Together, let us embrace technology and innovation to make healthcare financing smarter, more efficient, and more responsive to the needs of our people,” Dr. Djokoto added.
