Mama Deza 2025, Queen Sedinam Kassah, has donated sanitary pads to over 50 female students of the General Arts Department at Dzodze-Penyi Senior High School as part of efforts to promote menstrual health and support girls’ education.
The donation was held on Friday, 24th July 2026, and forms part of Queen Sedinam Kassah’s corporate social responsibility initiative aimed at supporting menstrual hygiene management and ensuring that no girl is disadvantaged in her education due to lack of access to sanitary products.
Representing Mama Deza 2025 at the event was the 3rd Runner-up, Queen Esinam, who was accompanied by Edys Promotion, organizers of the 2025 Deza Beauty Pageant, Hon. Pascal Ransford Bedzra, Head of Entertainment and Publicity of the Deza Central Planning Committee, together with the Assistant Headmistress and members of staff of the school.
As part of the programme, an educational session on menstrual health and personal hygiene was held to create awareness, encourage healthy menstrual practices, and help eliminate the stigma often associated with menstruation. Students were encouraged to embrace proper menstrual hygiene with confidence and to prioritize their health and well-being.
The initiative was warmly received by both students and teachers, who commended Mama Deza 2025 for her thoughtful intervention and dedication to the welfare of young girls.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, the School Prefect expressed appreciation to Queen Sedinam Kassah for her generosity and commitment to supporting girls’ education. She thanked Mama Deza 2025 and her team for the timely donation and appealed for similar initiatives to continue so that more female students could benefit.
