Godson Wotordzor Vies For NPP Volta Regional Organizer Position

Former Keta Constituency NPP Youth Organizer, Godson Wotordzor, has picked a form to contest for the Volta Regional Organizer position of the New Patriotic Party.

Speaking in an interview, Mr. Wotordzor confirmed his decision to contest, saying he is expecting support from delegates “for a good cause because I represent them in the regional executive committee.”

“Me as a regional organizer, I will make sure, I will help for all of us to implement that decision for the 2028 agenda for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to be declared as a winner of the election,” he stated.

Mr. Wotordzor recounted his party journey, noting he started as Tescom President for Keta NTC, was later appointed Deputy Regional Tescon Coordinator from 2020 to 2022, and subsequently won the Keta Constituency NPP Youth Organizer position. His term as youth organizer ended a few days ago.

After vetting, he said he is number three on the ballot and will begin campaigning in the coming days. “I will be moving to all the constituencies to make sure I engage them to buy into my vision,” he added.

The regional election is scheduled for 15th August in the Volta Region.

When asked about his plans if given the opportunity, he said he will focus on membership drive and mobilization for the 2028 general election. “I’m going to make sure we mobilize for the party for the upcoming general election so that we can see Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as president in the coming days,” he said.

The Volta Region has 18 constituencies. Mr. Wotordzor said he has already engaged delegates across the region and visited more than 12 constituencies to extend support ahead of the polls.
