Ketu North, V/R – 24Hour News – July 24, 2026 – Broadcast journalist Kojo Akoto Boateng today spent part of his day in the Ketu North Constituency with MP Eric Edem Agbana to engage rice farmers and explore investment opportunities in the district.
According to Kojo Akoto Boateng, the visit was initially to meet rice farmers who are struggling to sell their produce and to find markets for their stock.
“My visit was to meet the many rice farmers who are struggling to sell their rice and figure out how to sell their stock,” he said.
However, the tour extended beyond that as the two toured parts of the district and discussed broader opportunities for the people.
He described Hon. Agbana as a leader who inspires hope and called for more young politicians committed to development.
“Edem makes me hopeful. I pray we get a lot more young politicians who care about their people and actual development,” he stated.
Kojo Akoto Boateng added that while he continues to grow in Etornam James Flolu’s district, he remains connected to his father’s primary constituency and may consider reinvesting there in the future.
“As I figure out how to grow in Etornam James Flolu’s district, I’ll keep looking over my shoulders to my father’s primary constituency. Maybe, one day I’ll end up reinvesting in the place,” he said.
He pledged his full support to the MP, adding: “Edem, you have my full support. More vim!!!”
