MP for Ketu North, Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, today hosted broadcast journalist Kojo Akoto Boateng on a tour of the constituency to strategize on creating sustainable markets for rice produced in the area and to begin developing an agriculture-focused investment profile for Ketu North.
According to Hon. Agbana, the tour was aimed at exploring practical ways to support rice farmers and attract investment into the constituency’s agricultural sector.
“It was an enriching experience, particularly learning more about how technology can simplify farming operations, improve productivity, and create better opportunities for our rice farmers,” he said.
Kojo Akoto Boateng expressed appreciation for the quality of rice produced in Ketu North. The two held discussions on deliberate policy interventions government can pursue to address challenges confronting farmers and to unlock the full potential of the agricultural value chain.
“These are the conversations that matter – conversations that translate into ideas, partnerships and practical solutions capable of transforming local economies and creating opportunities for our people,” Hon. Agbana stated.
He added that Ketu North has enormous potential and that efforts are underway to unlock it.
