Minister for Roads and Highways and Member of Parliament for Adaklu, Hon. Kwame Governs Agbodza, has reaffirmed his commitment to parliamentary service and national development.
Speaking on his tenure in Parliament, Hon. Agbodza noted the privilege of representing his constituents and the responsibility that comes with the role.
“I had the privilege of representing the good people of Adaklu in Parliament, where I worked diligently to advance their interests and contribute to national development,” he said.
Hon. Agbodza, who has served as MP for Adaklu since 2013, has been vocal on infrastructure, governance, and accountability issues on the floor of Parliament. His elevation to Minister for Roads and Highways has placed him at the forefront of Ghana’s infrastructure delivery agenda.
Constituents cite his advocacy on road projects, school infrastructure, and water access as key interventions during his parliamentary tenure.
As Roads and Highways Minister, he is currently overseeing major financing arrangements for rural road improvement, including a US$500 million package that targets regions such as Volta.
Hon. Agbodza pledged to continue leveraging his dual roles to ensure that Adaklu and the wider Volta Region receive their fair share of national development.
